Terms and Conditions

When confirmation of order is received, this is to indicate that we have received your order. It does not indicate that a contract exists between us. We will indicate acceptance of your order, and hence a contract between us, when we send you an invoice. We have included this term to protect us in the case that a mistake has been made in pricing, we have inadvertently under-priced goods, or we are no longer able to supply a particular product for some reason. In the case of a change of price, we will always contact you first to ensure that the price is acceptable.

We may require additional security details including faxed or e-mailed documentation and a landline number before goods are dispatched. We reserve the right to cancel a contract if this information is not sufficient.

Goods are not supplied on a trial basis.

All prices quoted are inclusive of 23 % VAT, unless otherwise stated.

Unless we are specifically asked about requirements or compatibility, we shall assume the customer is aware of what these are.

If we have to part ship an order, due to temporary stock shortage, subsequent part shipments will not carry a delivery charge. We will always try to let you know if an item is out of stock at the time when you place your order. If, however, you order new release items, we shall hold the order until all items are in stock unless you agree to pay an additional shipping charge.

Mastercard, Visa cards are accepted without surcharge, however we reserve the right to delivery only to the card holders billing address or any other address acceptable to the card issuer.

Your credit/debit card will be charged at the time of order in order to secure the goods.

No property or title of the goods shall pass from Dynamic Music Products Ltd T/A Sounds Around to the customer until payment has been received in full. The customer is responsible for the goods from the time of delivery and liability to insure the goods then rests with the customer.

All products (inc. special offers, upgrades, promotions and free gifts) are subject to availability.

All products are covered by manufacturer's warranty.

Line Faders, Cross Faders, Cables and Stylus are not guaranteed unless otherwise stated.

Terms and conditions on acceptance of Warranty returns:

(i)Units returned for repair/replacement under warranty are accepted in good faith on the understanding they have faults due to “manufacturing defects” which are covered under the terms of the Manufacturer’s warranty.

These units are accepted by ourselves in good faith on the understanding that should it be discovered at a later stage, or after inspection by the Manufacturer or their appointed/approved service agents they are found either not to be faulty, or to have faults due to accidental damage, misuse or abuse these units will have incurred costs to Dynamic Music Products Ltd T/A Sounds Around  which would need to be recovered from the purchaser to cover carriage and service centre costs not reclaimable from the Manufacturers in handling these goods.

(ii) Units returned under Manufacturer's warranty may not under any circumstances be opened by the end user/non official service centre's. If the relevant official service centre is aware of the unit being opened the units warranty will be voided and costs will incur to the purchaser.

All shipments in transit from Dynamic Music Products Ltd T/A Sounds Around  are covered by carrier's insurance.

A signature will be required at time of receipt and goods cannot be left without such signature.

Claims for non delivery, missing items or damage to goods in transit must be made within 48 Hours of delivery. Any claims made after this time will not be accepted.

'Dead on arrival' : Goods found to be faulty from new can be returned for replacement or refund. The customer must notify Dynamic Music Products Ltd T/A Sounds Around  as soon as possible.

Refunds can only be effected by the channel originally used to make payment. Credit /Debit cards are credited straight away , but take a few days to reach your account.

The faulty goods will then be collected or Returned by courier.

Any item returned with no fault found will be subject to a minimum €49 handling charge.

Failed delivery due to customer (i.e. customer not present or refused goods) which are returned to Dynamic Music Products Ltd T/A Sounds Around  are subject to €15 charge for return. If the same goods are requested to be re-delivered, a minimum of €9.99 re-delivery charge will apply.

Please note for December online ordering: Some parts of Rep of Ireland will be experiencing delivery delays due to the amount of parcels our courier is having to handle. Poor weather in some parts of the country will also be a factor and your delivery may be delayed.

All illustrations and product descriptions featured in our advertisements, web site or brochures are correct at the time of going to press or web pages going 'live'. Any changes to the products will be mentioned on the website or at the time of ordering by mail order.

The following terms apply to mail order consumers as defined in the Distance Selling Regulations .

The consumer shall, subject to the terms set out in this Clause, have the right to cancel a Contract within 14 working days from the day after the date of delivery of the Goods by the Company to the consumer provided that he/she gives written notice of such cancellation.

A) If a consumer exercises his/her right to cancel a Contract, Dynamic Music Products Ltd T/A Sounds Around  shall, in accordance with the Regulations, reimburse any payment made by the consumer within 30 days from the day on which he/she gave such notice of cancellation, provided that the consumer shall not be entitled to a prepayment in the event that:

A1) he/she does not take reasonable care of the Goods either prior to cancellation of the Contract or, following cancellation, while the Goods remain in the possession of the consumer. For the purposes of this sub-clause A1, a consumer shall be deemed not to have taken reasonable care of the Goods if such Goods are not kept packed in their original box, with all accessories, manuals and cables and the internal or external packaging is defaced or damaged in any way; or

A2) the Goods are marked, damaged or not in the same condition in which they are sold.

The consumer is responsible for the cost of returning any unwanted items, or will responsible for the direct cost of collection of such items.

Products packed in Blister Packs (sealed plastic), cannot be returned if the blister pack has been opened unless faulty.

Once opened, headphones cannot be replaced or refunds cannot be given due to hygiene reasons but can be sent for repair if within the guarantee period.

Software products may not be returned or refunded once software is open and seals broken and hardware products containing software products that have been registered may also not be returned.

Duplicate invoices will be sent at a cost of €10.

The contract formed by our acceptance of your order shall be governed by Irish laws and you agree to submit to the non-exclusive jurisdiction of the Irish Courts.

We reserve the right to vary these terms and conditions at any time but, in respect of any ordered goods, the terms and conditions which apply shall be those which you accepted when you placed your order.

When you choose to shop at www.soundsaround.ie and make an order we require that you setup an account. During this process we will collect only information that is critical to the completion of the order. Your name, address and contact phone numbers are stored securely in our system for repeat use. We do not store any credit card information.

During the registration process you may decide to opt-in to our newsletter. We do not share your email address with any third parties, and you will not receive any emails from us if you ignore this option. Emails that are part of our online purchase system will however be sent to confirm your order, and for your own records.

We recommend that your password should be at least 5 characters long and should be different from your username. Your e-mail address must be valid. We use e-mail for communication purposes (order notifications, etc).

Therefore, it is essential to provide a valid e-mail address to be able to use our services correctly. All your private data is confidential. We will never sell, exchange or market it in any way.

RETURNS POLICY FOR ONLINE SALES ONLY

You can return most items purchased online if you find they are not suitable for you.

We need to know if you wish to return the item within 30 days of you receiving it, if you wish to return an item, you need to let us know by emailing us at returns@soundsaround.ie

You will then receive an email with return instructions and a returns form which will need to be returned to us either with the item or via email.

You have 14 days from when you notify us to return the goods to us.

You will need return the items to us and pay for the return. We can also arrange a collection of most items for €50, however this could increase with larger, heavier items.

Returned goods must be in their original packaging and in reasonable condition (no marks or scratches) any items returned that are not in the original packaging or show signs of use or damage will incur a handling charge dependent on the condition.

Once we have received and inspected the item(s) we will refund the amount paid (less any handling charge agreed) using the original payment method. Any additional delivery charges paid at the time of ordering (e.g pre-12 or Saturday delivery) will not be refunded.

 The following items cannot be returned if not required:

Software that has been opened or registered

Hardware that includes software that has been opened or registered

Consumables including stylus, vinyl and crossfaders which have been opened or used

Custom made or ordered items to the supplied specifications

Products such as in ear headphones and ear plugs once opened

RETURN OF FAULTY ITEMS:

Goods are covered by manufacturers warranty and upheld by us.

If you discover a fault with an item you purchased, contact us as soon as possible so we can try and resolve the issue.

If the item arrives faulty or a fault appears in the first 30 days, we will arrange to collect the item and replace it providing it is in reasonable condition and has its original packaging.

After the first 30 days, the item will need to be returned to us at your cost  and we will have it repaired by the manufacturer or their agent.

Once repaired or replaced, we will send the item back to you at no charge or you can collect from our Shop in Dublin.

Some manufacturers will handle the return themselves, we will let you know if this is the case with your return when you contact us.
